Rachel and Sandy’s pre-wedding photography in the Lake District

Aaargh! The day we had arranged for Rachel and Sandy’s pre-wedding shoot was sandwiched between two lovely sunny days. Even that morning was clear and bright. But Rachel and Sandy were up from Liverpool and you can’t let a bit of a downpour hold you back in the Lake District, so we carried on regardless! And thankfully we did because the love they share is clearly evident whatever the weather. Looking forward to their wedding when they’ll be married at Bolton-le-Sands and celebrating at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal later on this year!

So many really lovely photographs. Love the guys getting ready – true men with a motorbike in the lounge. You’ve captured the kids having fun throughout, but the real stunner for me is the black and white B & G dance image at the end. Beautiful.ReplyCancel

Good grief, what an amazing location for a wedding! I laughed at that shot of the wedding dress shoes with all the other shoes. The shot of them getting showered in petals is great but the best are the sunset pictures. Stunning.ReplyCancel
