Wedding Proposal Lake District

Zhifeng got in touch from Singapore to ask me to photograph his surprise proposal to Cheryl. They were having a trip to the Lake District and he planned to pop the question on the shores of Windermere.  After a great deal of planning and “x marks the spot” map drawing, the day finally came. I hid behind a small boat house, ready for the moment and this is what happened…

Zhifeng then told Cheryl that he’d arranged for me to photograph the moment (she had no idea!).
