Barney and Leonie got married at the beautiful New House Farm at Lorton, in Cumbria. It was a beautiful sunny day and such a stunning location.

After the ceremony we took a short drive for some portraits next to the beautiful Lake, with the amazing Lake District mountains as our backdrop. Barney and Leonie are such a lovely couple and it was a pleasure to be a part of their special day.

Barney grew up a short distance from New House Farm, a few miles up the road in Cockermouth. As we approached Crummock Water, one of Barney and Leonie’s chosen locations for their portrait photographs, he recalled fond memories of cycling up to the lake with his brother (and best man) and pointed out places where they’d camped, jumped in and swam. It was great to see him so happy with his new wife at one of his favourite places.
