Plans are afoot for Hannah and Darren’s wedding at Kendal Kingdom Hall and The Linthwaite House Hotel in Windermere this Spring. So late last Sunday afternoon we shot up into the Lakes to make the most of what was left of the sunshine. 6.21pm said the sunset time – not so predictable when surrounded by lakeland fells! Hannah and Darren are so in love and so much fun, I couldn’t help but have a brilliant time – thanks guys!A note of explanation here; the shooting was interrupted by Hannah suddenly becoming visibly distracted by something. “What is it?” I asked, looking skyward for some kind of UFO or something. “It’s just that twig, it’s really annoying me” was Hannah’s reply. It was too high for any of us to snap off so I promised to photoshop it. Hope you can sleep now Hannah!
For any tree enthusiasts reading – the one featured in the next couple of shots is a living 500 year old sweet chestnut (give or take a few years I should imagine).

Beautiful images, the red coat is really striking! Especially love the black and white shot of the waterfall.
Thomas – Thank you so much for capturing such a special time in our lives :o) You made us feel so relaxed during the shoot that all our pre-wedding photo nerves have now gone. We are thrilled with our pictures and so looking forward to our wedding day confident that we are in safe hands with you. Thank you so much again x
What a fabulous set. The lens flare shots and tilt/shift work is really striking. Bravo!
Beautiful. I LOVE the black and white in front of the gate, and the far away shot at the river!
What an adorable couple! Love the black and white shot near the end in front of the big tree.
Beautiful couple, great photos. Love that b&w in front of the tree 🙂
Adorable couple! I love the 6th one down and the last one.
The black and white one of them up against the cast iron fence belongs in a magazine….or on a wall. Seriously!
Love how Hannah’s jacket pops against all of the backgrounds. Great work all around.
Wow that image in front of the tree!! Wow!
What a cute couple!! Love their emotion.
That tree and the little cottage by the waterfall – are you KIDDING me? Awesome.
So romantic…I just love the tones here. Well done!
This might be one of my favorite engagement sessions ever. I love the transitions between the different environments, and your use of color and tilt/shift is brilliant. I want to see more.

Awesome, love the rich colours, the locations, and the tilt/shift shot by the waterfall is amazing!
Wow – a really stunning set in such a beautiful part of the world – I used to go to school there and didn’t appreciate my surroundings half as much as I should!
Awesome set of pictures. Gorgeous color. Bit of everything. Flare. Backlight. Soft light. Tilt-shift. Romance. Arty. Different backdrops. Liked best the doorway shots, nice set of posed, fun, tenderness.
