The wedding of Rachel and Sandy was a fabulous occasion. Guests converged from the far reaches of Scotland, Wales, England and Australia to North Lancashire and the Lake District to see two lovely families formally united. Rachelβs preparations took place at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal where we would return later for the reception….

So that is what Scotsmen keep in their sporrans, biscuits! Really nice coverage all the way through, but especially like the kiss in the church alcove/doorway.
Great coverage! Lovely portraits – looks like a good party too!
This is a lovely wedding, so much great coverage and the bride is a stunner!
Wow, fantastic from start to finish!!!
A job well done. Great storytelling, I bet the couple and their family loved every single photo.
Aaargh! The day we had arranged for Rachel and Sandy’s pre-wedding shoot was sandwiched between two lovely sunny days. Even that morning was clear and bright. But Rachel and Sandy were up from Liverpool and you can’t let a bit of a downpour hold you back in the Lake District, so we carried on regardless! And thankfully we did because the love they share is clearly evident whatever the weather. Looking forward to their wedding when they’ll be married at Bolton-le-Sands and celebrating at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal later on this year!
These are great! It clearly doesn’t matter what the weather throws at you when you know what you’re doing. Great job, especially love the last 6 or so π
Thanks Jo!
Love these Thomas, especially the ones on the fallen tree!

It was a great experience capturing Laura and Keith’s wedding. They are such a fun, relaxed couple with a great bunch of friends and family who really loved the day’s events. The ceremony was held at St Marks church in Natland before everybody moved on to the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal for a fine meal and reception.
No comments… people must be crazy!
These are cracking shots mate. Good idea with the post box and loving the prep image of the guy in the background doing the ‘Transformers point’ (if thats not whats he doing then thats some unique cufflink moves). The kids through the gate made me laugh too π
